    About Us

On September 1, 2017 Gary and Laura Cisler bought the Lanyon Blacksmith and Wagon Shop. The idea was to save the building and open a shop to sell their handmade wood furniture. This wood frame and stone building, built in 1868, remained a blacksmith and wagon shop until 1929. The building has its original interior, including rough sawn plank flooring. It is the perfect place to showcase their furniture built with new and reclaimed lumber, industrial materials, found objects, and unique hardware. He also creates shelving, accessory holders made from Ford wrenches, C-clamp book holders, and anything else Gary puts his mind to.

Laura started out working with wood but soon became involved with locating home goods for the shop to help showcase Gary’s handmade items. Looking for fun and unusual items has been the goal. You’ll find unique objects, as well as in trend items.
