The Bank on High
Built in 1907, The Bank on High is a striking example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. This stout, commanding building anchors the corner of High and Chestnut, where it has served the community in many capacities over the years. Originally home to various banks and law offices, it also housed the Mineral Point Phone Company’s first switchboard in the rear portion of the building. Today, The Bank on High blends history with modern use, offering both lodging accommodations, retail pop up opportunities, and commercial space.
