About Us
Don and Joey Mahieu are purveyors of high end sewing antiques and collectables, dealing in new, vintage, and antique hand worked quilts, quilt pieces, linens, classic sewing machines, and fabrics. Don is the curator and restoration artist of vintage items and antiquities. Joey is an artisan quilter specializing in commissioned quilts and custom long arm machine quilting using a wide range of freehand styles. Against the Grain is Joey's working studio where you can see her in action at the quilting machine and see quilts on display.
