Zine Making Workshop: Share Your Voice in Print
A zine is a small, do-it-yourself publication used to express your passions, ideas, and identity. Design and create your own zine using black-and-white media, which will then be copied and hand-colored using a variety of materials. Sandra will share her personal collection of zines and introduce you to the rich, rebellious history of zine-making—from punk rock to social justice to personal storytelling. Get inspired by the range of styles and voices that zines can capture. We’ll wrap up with a celebratory Zine Fest, where you can share your work, trade zines, and take home a collection of creativity. Come with an idea—or discover one along the way—and leave with your very own handmade publication. (Ages 13 & up!)
