Watermedia Tree Stories

Create vibrant visionary tree stories using paint, block prints, collage, and watercolor. These stories will be focused on an imaginary animal amongst tree shapes. The animal shapes will be block prints that you design and print that will be adorned with collage. Experimental watermedia approaches will be explored with watercolor and acrylic with a focus on composition, negative painting, and textures. Watermedia pours that will provide harmonious glowing washes of color on paper. Liquid watercolors will be poured on wet paper surfaces providing incredible fusions of color with hardly any effort at all. This is a great way to build up colorful backgrounds for collage and extended negative painting layers.
