Picassiette Birds
Create a pair of birds using china, tile, buttons, and old jewelry pieces! You will learn how to cut china and small tiles to incorporate into their design. You should have time to complete two birds in class, though grouting will need to be done on your own after the adhesive has had a chance to dry. I will demonstrate the grouting process in class and send you home with all you need to complete the project. No prior mosaic experience necessary—beginners are welcome!
Materials fee includes two primed bird cutouts, mosaic materials for tesserae, adhesive, and grout.
Class size 12
