Intermediate Glass Bead Making
The next step in glass bead making is here! You’ll learn complex stringers, incorporating silver metal into glass for special effects, encasing with clear glass to add beauty and magnification, sparkle, and shine. Explore precision and organic free style design of letting glass flow into layers of molten glass. Learn about reduction flame; reducing fuel to bring out the luster in silver glass. Beads will be kiln annealed. You’ll have the option to make jewelry with your beads for an additional charge. If you have taken the Making Glass Beads or have experience with making glass beads in the flame of a torch then this is the class for you.
