September 4, 2025 - DODGEVILLE, WI — Let’s be honest: Wisconsin doesn’t need another fall craft fair or hayride with lukewarm cider. You deserve an event that actually gets you out of the house, onto the trails, and face-to-face with what makes Wisconsin so beautiful. That’s why Bethel Horizons’ Trails & Tasting is the only fall event you need on your calendar.

Picture this: hiking (or biking, if you’re bold) across miles of trails, wandering into a pottery studio where you can pick up a handcrafted mug, stumbling upon live music, grabbing a bite, and then catching your breath while staring out over a view so good it makes Instagram filters look like child’s play. Oh, and it’s all free.

“This isn’t a fundraiser gala where you have to pretend to like chicken on a bed of rice,” said Eric Knueve, Executive Director of Bethel Horizons. “Trails & Tasting is about opening up this land to families, food lovers, and adventure seekers—people who might never set foot here otherwise. We want first-timers to walk away thinking: where has this place been all my life?”

And before you roll your eyes—no, you don’t need to be a hardcore outdoorsman. You just need to be someone who likes a beautiful day of hiking, biking, music, and food... and maybe discovering a spot that could host your next family reunion, corporate retreat, or just a Saturday you won’t forget.

• Where: Bethel Horizons, Dodgeville, WI (just 40 minutes west of Madison)

• Cost: Free (Donations are encouraged.  Suggested: $20/person)
