Beguiling Beads

In this fun class we will not only learn the basics of fiber and paper bead construction using geometric patterns to make varied shapes and sizes, but we will also experiment with selecting intriguing patterns of fabric and paper. Finally we’ll get extravagant and play with embellishing our beads with fiber, yarn, lace, wire, beads and charms. You’ll make lots of beads and get lots of ideas for future use of your creations: journals, jewelry, clothing, greeting cards, ornaments, gifts and more.

All supplies and patterns are included. No experience necessary—teens & older welcome!

Student Supply List
Students should bring scissors for cutting fabric and for cutting paper. (Optional: Fabric or clothing to slice and upcycle, and favorite charms.)
