Whether you're looking for art, history, or both – Brewery Pottery is sure to pique your interest. It’s an absolute “must stop” for anyone looking for an interesting, one-of-a-kind experience, while exploring Mineral Point.

Brewery Pottery, housed within a rambling 1850s brewery (one of the oldest standing brewery buildings in Wisconsin!), is nestled on the edge of town at 276 Shakerag Street. Inside, you’ll enjoy a unique and expansive gallery, a brewery museum, and a working pottery studio.

The gallery holds work from over 250 local, regional, and national artisans – including 50 different jewelers! Original pottery, paintings, woodwork, glassware, sculptures, journals, baskets, and more are all available in a variety of prices designed to fit any budget. Enjoy artwork by many local artists including (but not limited to) Diana and Tom Johnston, Claire Johnston, Bruce Fortney, Lauren Thuli, Julie Sutter-Blair, Sharon Nicholas, Nana Schowalter, Robert Clements, Rick Harris, and Kyle Martin.

While visiting, wander up into the pottery studio located within the gallery. Find owners (Diana, Tom, and Claire) making, glazing, and firing pottery. Guests are welcome to peek around the studio and ask questions.

The small brewery museum, also within the gallery, is a shrine to the building’s former life as the Mineral Spring Brewing Company and The Looms. Discover old photos, bottles, signs, brewery collectables, and weaving memorabilia. It’s a fan favorite for beer and history enthusiasts alike.
