The Poetry of Motion: Kinetic Earrings Intensive

Are you ready to play with fire? To add dimension, texture, and movement to your jewelry creations? Let’s make some dynamic earrings that dance and sway. In this action-packed workshop, I will show you how to make a variety of hollow forms, from open to textured to scrappy, how to bezel set rose cut gemstones and other cabochons, and hinge it all together for kinetic sculptures. I will whisper into your ear some super sneaky tricks (shhhhhhh) about how to make these earrings surprisingly lighter in weight than they may seem. You will be able to strut away, with at least one fantastic pair of kinetic earrings that are (almost) as unique as you are. (For this workshop, confidence with the torch is highly recommended.) Materials Fee Includes: Three cabochons (variety depends upon availability, and I will have some available to purchase), sterling silver tubing, sterling silver strip, bezel strip, gallery wire, paste & wire solder, titanium strips/clamps, 3M polishing paper, and bronze bitlets.
