Harvesting: A Sustainable Approach To Papermaking

This course introduces sustainable approaches to papermaking. Through this course you will be engaged conceptually in the practice of harvesting from place as content for papermaking. Local plants such as gladiola, iris, cattails are all excellent plants for papermaking. Demos will cover pulp preparation of organics, sheet forming, collage, stenciling, sculptural construction, pulp painting all to support your individual direction. No previous papermaking experience required.
