DESCRIPTION:This workshop will focus on botanical elements using the "dropped in color" technique\, which incorporates luminosity and brilliance in watercolor. We'll work with this watercolor technique to paint close ups of succulents and flowers with bright saturated colors using negative painting techniques. This will involve glaze layers to depict shapes by painting around them with contrasting colors. These shapes will give layers of depth from dark to light or light to dark.
