DESCRIPTION:Be a tourist in your own town! Join us this evening for an after-hours tour of Mineral Point's historic attractions. Iowa County residents get into Pendarvis Historic Site\, Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts\, Orchard Lawn\, the Mineral Point Opera House\, Mineral Point Railroad Depot\, the Mineral Point Chamber of Commerce\, the Mineral Point Library Archives\, Brewery Pottery and the Odd Fellows & Rebekahs Museum this evening free of charge. Guides will be available throughout all the sites to share stories and answer questions.\n\nPendarvis will also host a book signing with Jenny Kalvaitis and Kristin Whiston\, authors of "We Will Always Be Here: A Guide to Exploring and Understanding the History of LGBTQ+ Activism in Wisconsin."\n\n\n\nBrewery Pottery will be showcasing their newly updated Brewery History Museum\, giving tours of the first floor\, and talking to visitors about the history of the building with a focus on 1850-1961 when the building was an active brewery. Visitors will be given a complimentary Mineral Point ornament as a souvenir from their Museum Night 2022 experience. All are welcome.
