We'll cover available tools\, such as the belt sander\, band saw\, wheel grinder and drill press\, and proper use of the anvils\, vices\, hammers and tongs. This class will teach the basic skills of drawing\, tapering\, and twisting\, and how to apply these skills to make a variety of functional hooks and leaves. On day two we will be drawing and tapering for a specific project: a key hanger. We will work with round and bar stock\, rivet the hooks\, and hot punch holes.
