DESCRIPTION:The 8th annual Mineral Point Ice Lantern Festival\, presented by Arts Mineral Point\, is Saturday\, February 8\, 2025\, throughout the downtown historic district! Visit Mineral Point's galleries\, studios and shops throughout the day and into the evening.\n\nSee ice lanterns created by artists\, businesses\, MP High School Art students and fun loving townspeople. Lanterns are made of ice by mother nature and are powered by a single candle. Lanterns will be judged and prizes will be awarded.\n\nEnjoy family-friendly activities in the downtown historic district from 11am - 7pm. Grab hot chocolate\, warm-up at a fire pit and listen to tunes from DJ FMAV in the library park. Ice Lanterns are lit up at 5pm! Visit participating retail locations with extended hours till 7:00pm\, and bars and restaurants with festival specials.\n\nCheck out our website for more information.
