SUMMARY:Funky Mosaic Flamingo
DESCRIPTION:Create a fun mosaic flamingo\, and explore the wonders of picassiette which is mosaic made using china pieces and found objects. In this class you will be provided with a flamingo that is already set on a lamp stand\, and you'll learn to break ceramics and glass in a controlled manner\, to work out a design using the colors and patterns on your pieces. It would be helpful if you have some experience with mosaic even just setting tiles this is a project! Each day will cover how to do a section of the flamingo\, and Sunday you will learn to grout or finish placing your tiles if it's not done yet. If you don't finish while here\, I will send you home with all you need to complete your project!\n\nMaterials fee includes a flamingo set onto a weighted lamp base\, some china plates and cups\, other tesserae\, tiles\, embellishments\, palette knife\, adhesive\, and grout.
