The majority of the time will be dedicated to experimenting in the "laboratory" where ingredients and recipes will be provided to make samples of painting media. Take away an Earth Pigment Journal to document what you've learned. Dawn follows healthy studio practices for the benefit of the artist as well as the environment. Paints are made with pigments that are nontoxic\, eco-friendly\, and sustainably harvested from around the world. Mediums and adhesives are plant-based. No solvents or petroleum products used in this workshop. All supplies will be provided. Materials Fee includes: Recipes\, tips and journal\, all earth pigments and natural additives\, printing papers\, sample canvas and board\, and use of encaustic hot plates\, natural gelatin plate and glass mixing palette and muller.
