DESCRIPTION:Have a curious object you've been dying to turn into jewelry? A pebble from a favorite hike? A mysterious trinket from your junk drawer? In this playful yet skill-driven workshop\, you'll learn to design and fabricate a contemporary pendant that includes a custom prong setting. Prong styles covered will include a partial bezel\, a claw style\, and back-soldered prongs. Bring your imagination\, your soldering chops\, and that special object you want to showcase. I'll guide you through three prong-setting styles and help you transform your idea into a bold\, wearable piece of art. After you have enrolled in the class\, expect some handy-dandy handouts with additional information. You can expect to practice all pieces in copper. (Must have previous soldering experience.) Material Fee includes: Various solders\, sheet and wire in copper and brass. Sterling sheet 1 x2 \, and sterling 4  of wire for prongs\, 14\,16\,18g.
