Mineral Point's Parks

Mineral Point boasts several well-kept parks throughout the city. Watertower Park, Ted Galle Park, Jerusalem Park, Library Park and Soldier's Memorial Park all provide places to relax or play, and to enjoy a picnic lunch.

The largest, Soldiers Memorial Park has a fine basketball court, ball diamonds and playground equipment. Sheltered picnic areas, able to accommodate small or large groups, barbeque grills, lighted tennis courts and public restrooms are also available

Open during the summer months, swimmers will enjoy an Olympic-size pool located at Soldiers Memorial Park. The pool was built in the 1930's as a WPA project and was recently renovated and remains in excellent condition.

Ted Galle park was dedicated on July 25, 1992. It is located across from Fifth and State street.

Jerusalem Park located on Fountain St. has a basketball court and playground.
