Come and celebrate winter in Mineral Point during the last weekend of January.  A full weekend of fun events and challenging games is planned for the whole family.  Fire trucks, horse-drawn wagons/sleighs and complimentary shuttles are available to take you to enjoy sled races, tubing, volleyball, flag football, kick ball, frozen pasty toss, Cornish hen curling and ice golf.   Snow sculpting, ice carving, ATV/snowmobiles shows, kite flying and cross country skiing round out the weekend.

The festival begins with indoor youth activities on Friday night.  On Saturday, everyone is "thrilled by the chill" as we have a full assortment of action...followed by a bonfire and fireworks display by Kastner Pyrotechnics.   On Sunday, enjoy a movie at the Opera House, let the kids swim, take a museum tour or use special discounts for more post-holiday shopping at our fabulous retailers.
